Championing Ourselves: Path of the Woman WarriorKym

A women-only workshop examining what the warrior path can mean for women* today. We will explore the history and myth of many cultures, although the Celtic and the Sarmatian Steppe cultures will be a primary focus, as well as how we can manifest the path ourselves. We will take a body, mind and spirit approach. The physical aspects of fitness and self-defense will be discussed, with a handout including information on local training options for those who wish to seek them out. The mental aspects will be explored both in discussing myth and history but also our own psychological strengths. The spiritual will explore the calling we may feel to serve our God/desses in this manner. There will be a guided meditation and a simple ritual of offering, please wear comfortable clothing and bring some small food (nuts, berries, cookies) offering to be taken to a wild area as offering to the God/desses, Spirits and Ancestors after.

*And by "women" I do mean all women, no genetic testing will be done at the door. (I figure it's been an issue so I needed to state this)

Flying with the Hooded Crow, Running with Mad Hounds: The Outlaw Warrior Poet

A workshop for anyone interested in the Outlaw warrior path, modeled on the ways of the ancient Fianna. Exploring these tales, we will look into what it means to be Outside, liminal and in between. We'll explore the physical and spiritual aspects of the warrior path, connecting fully with Nature and the Otherworld, opening our Sight and shifting shape and consciousness. If possible this will be held outside. There will be a guided meditation and a simple ritual of offering, please wear comfortable clothing and bring some small food (nuts, berries, cookies) offering.
